Monday, our students explored and experimented with four different types of soil in science class. We placed each soil sample in water to observe how it reacts and mixes.
Tuesday, after leaving them overnight, they were checking what happened—did they separate or mix?
Here’s what we discovered about the soils:

• Soil 1: Slightly wet, minimal content, one rock and a small root
• Soil 2: Full of roots and sticks
• Soil 3: Wet, clumpy, and could be moulded together
• Soil 4: Very dry and crumbly
