Safer Internet Day 2026 – Smart Tech, Safe Choices! - 10 Feb 2026

On 10th February, we’ll be joining schools across the country to celebrate Safer Internet Day, focusing on this year’s theme: “Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.”
AI is becoming a big part of young people’s everyday lives; from chatbots to image generator. This year we’re helping pupils think critically, stay safe, and make informed choices online.
Across the week, our students will explore:

• What AI is (and what it isn’t)
• How to check if information online is trustworthy
• How AI uses data
• Why personal responsibility and consent matter
• What to do and who to talk to if something online doesn’t feel right

Together, we can help children stay safe, confident and curious in the digital world.
