Before we broke up for Christmas, a very friendly cat had been visiting the school and clearly needed some help. He was hungry, thirsty and keen to make himself at home; it was obvious he was someone’s much loved pet who had lost his way.
Thanks to the kindness and quick thinking of Amanda, one of our staff members (and an RSPCA volunteer), and with support from the RSPCA team, the cat, now known as Milo, was safely reunited with his owners. Milo has since been neutered and microchipped and made it home in time for Christmas Day.
A lovely reminder of how compassion, teamwork and looking out for one another can make all the difference. We’re so pleased Milo is safely back where he belongs.
